Log Cabins at Park Farm Holidays Withern in Lincolnshire
You do not have to gather damp wood to make a fire before you eat. (If you wish you can burn your meat over glowing charcoal.) They are designed to look as natural as possible in a woodland setting. That is why we are keeping the number down to four. They are double glazed and centrally heated, so they are always warm and comfortable. Goldcrest and Pheasant have a lounge over thirteen feet square with a kitchen area off one end, with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, etc. In the lounge there is a dining table and chairs, a settee and easy chairs, coffee tables and of course a colour television. There is a bathroom with a standard sized bath with a shower, one bedroom with a double bed and one with two singles. Single beds are all 3 ft. wide and double beds are 4ft 6ins. Apart from the room with a double bed there is room for a wheel chair anywhere. All the bedroom furniture is built in. In the double room there is a wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables. In the twin room the table between the beds doubles up as a dressing table. There is also locker space under the beds. Beds are made up with duvets and towels are included Partridge and Kestrel are larger, having a larger lounge, one double and two twin rooms, a bathroom and a shower room with a toilet in each. They all have garden tables and chairs on the verandahs. The Cabins are all named after birds, which are regularly seen. >> Access to Cottages and Cabins at Park Farm Holidays Withern |
A separate building has a washing machine, tumble drier, ironing facilities and a pay phone for the use of the residents. We do not have a 'Disability' rating, but experience has shown that the Cabins are suitable for someone in a wheelchair with assistance. |
